One of my group members 'Maddy' recently did a survey on Twitter asking the audience questions about the action genre and what could be included in out production. These were the results-
One of the questions was 'In an action film should a fight be...'. The results for this was the audience wanted the fight scene to be fast paced, this could be included in our production very well because we only have a limit of 2 minutes so a fast pace action scene would be very suitable and exciting to film.
The next question asked was whether the audience prefers the protagonist to have powers or not. The majority vote for this is to have powers for the hero. This would make our production more exciting and action pact with the use of powers but it could be hard to include realistic powers through the powers of editing. The final question was what action sub-genre do you prefer, the audience responded with action comedy. My team were expecting for the audience to say action adventure because that's what we wanted to include in our production but there could be a way that we could include humour. In out previous survey the audience said that they would like more humour and this same response has been mimicked in this poll so my group feel as if we could try and include humour to satisfy the audience.
